The Simple Dehydrated Method from £340
This is the most popular method of encapsulation due to the energy it provides. Your placenta is dehydrated, ground into a fine powder and encapsulated. This method will yield more capsules and it maintains the highest level of nutrients and hormones.
The Steamed Method from £340
This is inspired by Traditional Chinses Medicine (aka TCM)
You placenta is steamed and infused with ginger, chilli and lemon before it is dehydrated. This has a balancing and warming effect.
I will always use this method if meconium is present at birth or if you are a carrier of Group B Strep.
Other Placenta Remedies (offered in addition to capsules/ cubes)
Placenta Tincture £90
This is a potent remedy renowned for its energizing effects, healing properties, and hormone regulation. It’s made from a piece of placenta steep in very strong alcohol for 6 weeks. (It is the same as the process used for rescue remedies)
It lasts an indefinite amount of time to support you for many years. Women have even used it to support them through the menopause.
A popular way of using this remedy is to add 10-20 drops to a drink in times when you are craving energy and balance.
Placenta Oil £55
Your placenta powder is steeped in organic apricot kernel oil. This has so many uses; you can mix a few drops with other oils, creams and lotions, it can be applied directly to your skin on scars and stretch marks, it can be used as an antiaging face oil and as a treatment for nappy rash.

So how does it all work?
I will collect from the following hospitals:
The main hospitals I cover are Warwick Hospital, UHCW (University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire) George Eliot and Horton Hospital.
I cover further a field for an extra £30 to cover my additional travel time and milage; Good Hope, Birmingham Women’s, Birmingham City Hospital, Heartlands, Worcester Royal, Northampton General, Leicester Royal. If you do not see your hospital on here contact me and ask!
For home births I cover within an hours drive of Leamington Spa (anything over 30 minutes from my home is an extra £30 to cover my travel time and millage). Again, I cover further if someone can meet me part way or you’re happy to pay towards millage!
As you approach you estimated due date I send out a chiller pack which contains everything you need to safely store your placenta following birth until I collect it from you (I aim to collect your placenta within a few hours). I will send you detailed instructions and a helpful video on what to do with your chiller pack once you receive it.
I will be ‘on call’ and come to collect your placenta day or night when you let me know your baby (and placenta!) have arrived.
It will be midwives that handle your placenta and place it into the chiller pack so all you need to do is fill out some very simple paperwork, let me know it’s ready and hand it over to me when I reach you.
And that’s it! Leave the rest to me!
I will store your placenta safely in my specialist placenta fridge until I’m able to create you chosen capsules and remedies (I always aim to get your capsules back to you within 48-72 hours). I only ever work on one placenta at a time in my highly controlled placenta lab so you can be assured of hygiene levels.
All this service is included in the prices you see. I live in Leamington Spa so I predominantly cover UHCW (Coventry), Warwick Hospital and George Elliot Hospital and of course home births all across Warwickshire and beyond. I offer free collection for locations within 40 minutes drive, anything further is subject to addition millage/ time costs but please do enquire to find out if I cover your chosen location location.
